Lawnmower of the Day: 1935 G-Tech Soviet
The G-Tech Soviet has a chequered past. Most historians now accept that the real purpose of the Russian revolution was to enable the development of an ever improving set of lawnmowers and the G-Tech 3 represented Stalin's declaration of war on the Russian strimmer using classes. A hundred thousand men were to die in the fall out and numerous lawns were left uncut for several weeks. In the end, Stalin's persistence paid off and the G-Tech cemented itself as the Soviet mower of choice until the anti-Stalinist backlash of the 1960s. It might look like a pile of shite, but this baby was truly one bitch of a mow.
